William Gary Nellis
William Gary Nellis earned both his undergraduate Bachelor's Degree and his Master's Degree from Baylor University (sic ‘em, Bears!), and received his Juris Doctorate (Law Degree) from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas. Mr. Nellis first entered into the practice of law in 1997 and actively practiced for nearly 15 years, handling criminal and family law matters. He has gotten “not guilty” verdicts in cases involving Capital Murder, Aggravated Sexual Assault, Injury to a Child, Aggravated Assault of a Public Servant, Burglary of a Habitation, Possession/Distribution of Controlled Substances, DWI, and many others. In his last 13 trials, Mr. Nellis won not guilty verdicts in eleven of them, a hung jury on another, and only lost one (and he is still upset about that one). Mr. Nellis was a past member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers' Association, and many other professional associations, and is a member of the Golden Gavel, Sigma Tau Delta, Golden Key honor societies. Mr. Nellis is married to Sheri, whom he met in 6th grade in his hometown of Denison, Texas, and is the proud father of two children: Lindsay and Will. Mr. Nellis is currently serving as Case Coordinator for the Law Offices of William Pigg and truly enjoys helping people, allowing his tremendous skill set to benefit clients, and ensuring that they have the highest quality representation that is possible.
